In collaboration with Quirky Irish Icons

The 'Dublin In The Pear Auld Times' magnet is inspired by a gorgeous ancient pear tree that sits on the Roe & Co grounds and still flowers to this day. It's a proud part of our story, so Patricia from Quirky Irish Icons brought it and the famous windmill tower into the design of this magnet to make it special for us. 

 

Quirky Irish Icons was set up by Patricia Pierce in 2014. It all started when her nephew moved to Dubai. He loved his new home but he really missed all of those things that you can only get in Ireland. Like real Irish butter and batch loaf or a lovely homemade Dublin Coddle. But most of all, he missed his ma and his da. Patricia set about trying to find him something that could easily be posted, and something that was a bit quirky and had a bit of character. After searching high and low to no avail, she decided to do it herself. So out came my polymer clay.
